Well, here we are, welcome to my blog!
I never thought in my wildest imagination that I would ever attempt a blog, but given the situation I think that this will be the best way for me to communicate what the next 2 years of my life will be like. For those of you who don't know, and maybe just happened to stumble upon this blog I'll be a Peace Corps Volunteer, living in the country of Suriname in South America.
Though the Peace Corps will be a test this blog might even be more of a test. I'm not the one to write, I never really particularly took to the pen-pal thing way back in elementary school, and wasn't really the most descriptive of writers throughout my university years either. But not to worry, this blog is going to be my honest attempt to write as much as possible in order to give you the best idea of what my time in Suriname will be like.
